  • Domain: Host-only; no Domain attribute is set.
  • SameSite: Lax
  • Secure: Enabled when the application runs with the production (prod) profile used for HTTPS deployment; disabled under the default local profile so local HTTP development continues to work.
  • HttpOnly: Enabled (true).

A clean visit without a language selection does not set this cookie. Unsupported language values are ignored and are not stored as valid preferences.

If the cookie is deleted or unavailable and no supported language is selected in the request, the Site uses English as its default language. Blocking the cookie does not prevent access to the Site, but the selected language may not be remembered.

3. Temporary Browser Session Storage

The home page may use the following browser session-storage entry when the visitor changes language:

  • Key: dms-scroll-y
  • Technology: Browser sessionStorage; not a cookie.
  • Purpose: Temporarily records the vertical scroll position so it can be restored after a language change.
  • Duration: Removed after it is read on the following page load; otherwise it remains only for the relevant browser session, subject to browser behavior.
  • Sent with HTTP requests: No.
  • Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite: Not applicable to browser session storage.

This entry is used only for the scroll-restoration purpose described above.

4. Managing Cookies and Browser Storage

You can inspect, block, or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also clear site data or browser session storage through the browser's developer or privacy controls.

Blocking or deleting the language cookie does not prevent access to the Site, but your selected language may not be remembered. Clearing session storage may prevent automatic restoration of the scroll position after a language change.
